Who is Michelle Khare?

She studied a self-designed major in digital media and technology at Dartmouth College, and interned at a search company, an animation studio and a production company. It was while living in Los Angeles for those internships that she started cycling for fun. It went further than fun: she joined the college cycling team, won the United States under-23 criterium national title in 2014, and rode for a professional women's team for the 2014 and 2015 season.
She credits her younger sister with the idea of starting a channel. After graduating in 2014 she took a full time job as a content producer at a large media company, where restrictions on outside work meant her own channel had to stay dormant. She kept racing and made health and fitness content for her employer. Then she stopped racing professionally, left the company in 2016, and put everything into her own channel.
What she built is a series in which she trains properly for things she has no business attempting, and then attempts them: the physical tests used to assess American footballers, a month of training as a professional dancer, one of the most dangerous stunts in the history of stage magic. The channel had two million subscribers by April 2020 and over four million by October 2023. In April 2023 she won a boxing match against another video maker on a charity card. She now hosts a children's competition programme as well, and does her own stunts, which she has spent a decade learning how to survive.
