Reporting something on a shared page.

Updated on 12 Sep 2026

1. What can be shared here

Character Arc is private by default. There's no feed, no comments and no followers, and nothing is public unless a member deliberately publishes it.

When a member does publish, the page shows a headline they wrote, the titles and dates of moments they chose, and the shape of their arc. It never includes their reflections, their written notes, their emotions, how anything felt, or any photograph. Those stay private and no share page can reach them.

Shared pages expire on their own, 30 days after publishing unless the member chose otherwise, and a member can remove one at any moment.

2. Who is responsible for what

The member writes the words and decides to publish them. We provide the structure, the design and the hosting.

We don't review pages before they go out. Nothing published by a member is endorsed by us or represents our views. If something is wrong, we need someone to tell us, and this page is how.

3. What isn't allowed

Anything published here must not be:

  • Hateful, harassing, threatening, or bullying toward anyone
  • Sexual content involving anyone under 18
  • Private information about another person shared without their agreement, including addresses, contact details or anything else that identifies them
  • Untrue and damaging to a real person
  • Infringing someone else's copyright or trade mark
  • Impersonating a person, a company or a brand, including in a handle
  • Illegal in any other way

4. Reporting a page

Anyone can report a shared page, whether or not they're a member. You don't need an account and you don't need to sign in. Write to [email protected] and tell us:

  • The link to the page
  • What's wrong with it, in your own words
  • What you'd like us to do
  • How we can reach you

We'll confirm we got it within 2 working days, and tell you what we decided within 10 working days. If it's urgent, and anything involving a threat, a child, or someone's safety is, tell us that and we'll look immediately.

5. Reporting a copyright problem

If something published here infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent:

Copyright Agent, Limitless Lumens Pte. Ltd. 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 [email protected]

Please include: your contact details, what work has been infringed, the link to the page you're complaining about, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, a statement under penalty of perjury that you're the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and your signature, physical or electronic.

We'll remove or disable access to the page promptly and tell the member who published it.

6. If you think we got it wrong

If your page was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address. Include: your contact details, the page that was removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your agreement to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live, or of Singapore if you're outside the United States.

We'll pass your counter-notice to whoever complained. If they don't start a court action within 10 to 14 working days, we may restore the page.

7. Repeat infringement

If a member repeatedly publishes material that infringes someone's rights, we'll close their account. We keep a record of complaints so we can tell the difference between a mistake and a pattern.

8. Misusing this process

Reporting something you know isn't infringing, to get a page taken down, can make you liable for the costs it causes. Please only report things you genuinely believe are wrong.

9. Handles

A handle is a name a member reserves for their share link. It isn't a profile and it doesn't reveal anything about them.

We don't allow handles that impersonate a real person, a company or a brand, that are offensive, or that exist mainly to sell or hoard names. If you hold a trade mark and a handle infringes it, report it at section 4 and we'll deal with it.

If we reassign a handle, the old link stops working and is never given to another account.

10. What we do about reports

We may remove a page, disable a link, reassign a handle, warn a member, suspend an account, or close one. We choose whatever's proportionate.

We'll always tell the member what happened and why, unless a law stops us, and they can ask us to look again by writing to [email protected]. A different person reviews an appeal wherever possible.

We'll also tell whoever reported it what we decided.

11. Our contact point for authorities

For legal and regulatory matters, including under the EU Digital Services Act, contact us at [email protected]">legal email or at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. We correspond in English.

12. Our own material

The app, the models, the quests, the writing, the design, the arc mechanic, the Character Arc name and the logo belong to us. Members are welcome to share their own pages and to talk about Character Arc. Copying our content, or using our name or branding as though you're us, isn't allowed. If you'd like to work with us, that's the Partner Program.
